Jaxx is a sturdy, medium-sized dog, but on the smaller side for a boxer. He has the distinctive muscular build of a Boxer, softened by traits of his mixed heritage. His coat is a patchwork of brindle, with swathes of fawn and streaks of white that highlight his expressive face and paws. Jaxx’s eyes (one green and one blue, just like Maxx) are rich with loyalty and mischief, are framed by the droopy, expressive Boxer ears that perk up at the hint of adventure. His face wears the characteristic Boxer look of keen interest and readiness, with a slightly turned-up nose that’s always sniffing out the next big adventure.

Jaxx embodies the spirited and protective nature of a Boxer, mixed with an adaptable and friendly temperament from his mixed lineage. He’s energetic and playful, with a natural curiosity that makes him the perfect companion for Maxx. Jaxx is protective of his family, showing a bravery and loyalty that knows no bounds. His playful antics and boundless energy make him a source of constant amusement and affection.

How Jaxx Joined the Family: Maxx’s parents picked up Jaxx from local farmers, Ben and Sarah who were selling dogs at the farmer’s market. While at the farmer’s market, a puppy got away from the farmer and the chase began. Jaxx, an unnamed, and unwanted runt of litter at this point, ran around the farmer’s market causing havoc. Knocking over Mrs. Patel’s fruit stand, up ending poor Mrs. Wilson, etc. As more and more people attempted to catch this out-of-control puppy, more and more chaos ensued, and no one could catch him. That is until, the out of control puppy saw Maxx playing on the grass, the puppy immediately ran to Maxx, jumped up on his lap and started licking Maxx in the face. Maxx just started to laugh and hug the puppy. At this point Maxx’s parents noticed that the puppy had two different colored eyes. Maxx’s parents felt it was meant to be and bought the puppy from Ben and Sarah. This is happened when Maxx was younger, about 4.
